Tuesday, June 3: Mad skills
The day Rebekah comes home from her mission, she plays a silly little drum pad we have with her feet.
Friday, June 6: Temple trip
Andrea and Rebekah pose outside the temple after participating in an endowment session.
Saturday, June 7: Load 'em up
The girls load up in the van during our trip to the annual Iona community-wide garage sale.
Sunday, June 8: Seth is 43!
Seth opens his birthday present: a new hammock for the back yard. I don't always do a good job of picking out a present by myself and surprising him, but this year I did. Seth loves napping/lying in the hammock and spending time with the dogs.
Sunday, June 15: Graduation present
Ana opens her graduation present from Uncle Jason: a personal blender.
Seth opens his birthday present from Jason, a stein-mug-thing and a wooden tortoise.

Our softball team (the Mad Batters) and our opponents spend a few minutes after a game picking rocks out of the diamond.
Thursday, June 19: Stretching helpers
Seth stretches on the front lawn after his 2-mile run while the dogs keep him company.
Saturday, June 21: Arrowheads and engagements
Winnie shows the cactus blossom she picked while searching for arrowheads.
Nathan and Rebekah eat lunch together after Rebekah flew out to Delaware to spend time with (and be proposed to) Nathan.
Tuesday, July 1: Together time
Rebekah and Ana work on getting Dixie and Toad used to each other.
Miriam hugs Winnie during a softball game.
Friday, July 7: Bandana
Ana works on tying a bandana around her hair.
Saturday, July 5: Testing it out
Miriam, Winnie and Ana try out the new (to us) bed we bought on auction. The head and foot of the base will raise and lower separately.
Saturday, July 12: Renaissance Faire
Rebekah dressed up for the local Renaissance faire. At one point, she was wearing a pair of horns on a headband that Miriam had made, but that didn't last long.
Winnie and Miriam dressed up for the fair and checking out the booths.
Ana and Winnie looking at a booth.
Everyone in their costumes. Winnie bought the parasol for herself.
Satruday, July 19: Separate but equal and naptime
Dixie and Peach eat together on the back porch. Dixie had displayed food aggression more than once, so we were trying to teach her to eat near another dog without getting all riled up.
Ana taking a nap on the couch.
Tuesday, July 22: Rigby Lake
Andrea, Miriam and Winnie at Rigby Lake. We chose to go to the lake that day because we knew Rebekah was there with Nathan and his family during a family reunion. I got to (officially) meet Nathan for the first time in person (we had seen him in Nauvoo, but we didn't shake hands or anything because he was just another missionary). We also got to meet some of his siblings, his mom, his grandpa and some aunts and uncles.
Winnie (mostly) buried in the sand at Rigby Lake.
Tuesday, July 29: Temple trip
Nathan and Rebekah headed to the temple to do proxy ordinances.
Thursday, July 31: Seth's favorite dog
Seth poses with a pug at Pine Basin Lodge. Winnie spent the week at Pine Basin participating in their summer camp for middle schoolers where she earned high school credit. Seth and Andrea went up on parent night to eat dinner and spend time with Winnie. The pug belonged to a little girl who was there visiting an older sibling.
Friday, August 1: Family picnic
Grandma Scott, Grandpa Scott, Nathan, Ana and Rebekah enjoy a family picnic at Grandma Susan's house the day before Nathan and Rebekah's wedding.
Thursday, August 7: Pool party
Winnie, Ana and Seth try to get Dixie excited about the little plastic pool (originally supposed to be a sandbox with a cover) we bought at D.I. so the dogs could keep cool during the summer. Neither dog cared a lick for the pool.
Friday, August 8: Weird Al
Ana, Seth, Andrea, Miriam and Winnie wait in our seats for the start of the Weird Al concert. We had bought tickets about 9 months in advance and couldn't wait to see the legend in person. And the concert didn't disappoint. First we heard from Puddles the Pity Party Clown, and he was amazing. (Apparently he's obsessed with Kevin Costner?) Then we heard from the phenomenal Mr. Yankovic himself.
Ana and her friend, Asher, recording a reel for Instagram before the show.
Saturday, August 9: Kitty snuggles
Winnie and Toad snuggle on the living room floor.
Friday, August 15: Take me out to the ballgame
Winnie, Miriam, Ana, Andrea and Seth pose before the start of a Chukars game.
Thursday, August 21: Cool treat
Miriam, Winnie and Andrea eat gelatis at KariAnne's in Rexburg. We had just visited Grandma Hendricks where the girls had done yard work for her.
Friday, August 22: More together time and a river float
Seth helps Dixie get acclimated to Toad.
Miriam, Winnie, Andrea and Seth get ready to put their kayaks and tubes into the Warm River.
Seth and Winnie floating.
Seth with Winnie tied to him; Andrea with Miriam tied to her. Not pictured: the time when half of the party fell into the river due to large boulders. Seth's phone was submerged for five minutes but miraculously survived. The moral of the story: If you're going to float Warm River, don't put in at the campground; start farther downstream at Fisherman's Bridge. A grumpy lady came out and chewed us out for floating over her pump. Yeah, there had been a sign saying you shouldn't float there. At that point, we had been floating for a little while and weren't sure what else we could do.
Saturday, August 23: Busking date
Ana sings (mostly Beatles songs) while Seth plays at the greenbelt. We went there on a Saturday during the Famers' Market so there would be more people to hear us.
Enjoying Orange Leaf after our busking date.
