Hunting camp

As per tradition, we packed up the trailer and headed north for archery season's opening weekend. The whole area is bone dry, so we all ended up dusty but happy.

Winnie had to wear a sock over her cast any time she was outside the trailer. (How else can you keep a cast on a 4-year-old clean?) Bekah went hunting with Seth a couple of times but didn't get to see much. Analee opted to stay at camp rather than hunt because she values her sleep. (Early mornings and late nights make for tired girls.) Seth helped to ensure I got a good nap Sunday after some rough nights and early mornings. Miriam asked to go on four-wheeler rides every two minutes (and got to go on several). Peach got chased by Ruby (Dennis' dog) and fought for attention with Roscoe (Uncle Doug's dog).

Aside from the people who stayed at camp (Uncle Doug and Lakota; Grandma Susan and Grandpa Dennis; Uncle Jim, Aunt Anne, Mack and Tav), many others managed to find their way to camp to enjoy Grandpa Dennis' Dutch oven dinner: Grandma Scott, Grandpa Scott and Aunt Jessica (their first time at hunting camp); Grandma and Grandpa Hendricks; and Aunt Cathy, Uncle Greg, Austin and Clayton.
