As stated before, Miriam spent her birthday driving home from the redwoods with the family. When we arrived home, Miriam got to open a couple of birthday presents.
Winnie, Ana (yawning, I think) and Seth watching Miriam open her gifts (wrapped in the standard Amazon cardboard!).
She received art paper and a whole bunch of alcohol markers.
Then on Sunday, March 29, we hosted a birthday dinner at our house. We had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, two favorites of Miri's. She requested a lemon raspberry cake, and the grandparents and local aunts, uncles and cousins came.

And then the next week, she received the last gift from us that I didn't order in time to have for her birthday or her birthday dinner.
