The remodel/addition so far

We have been dreaming about a major remodel/addition to our home for a long time now. We've had the plans in hand for more than a year, but by the time we got them, all the construction companies were booked for the season. We had to patiently wait to hire a contractor and get on their calendar, but glory, glory! Ground is broken and things are finally underway.

Porch removed from the west side of the house and hole dug for the foundation of our living room.

 Watching TV in the family room on camp chairs because of all the furniture we have moved out on May 31.
